The workshop included keynote lectures with five
breakout discussion sessions, covering the following topics:
1. Emergence of antimicrobial resistance determinants.
2. Mobility and capture of DNA encoding resistance.
3. Commensals as reservoirs for antimicrobial resistance and interplay
with pathogens.
4. Ecology of resistances outside the host.
5. Identify data gaps for modeling consequences to human health of
antibiotic use in veterinary medicine.
